After an allergic reaction sent Bill to the ER, he noticed lumps in the left side of his neck. A series of tests revealed diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. Then he was in remission for three years before another ER visit for severe shoulder pain turned into another diagnosis: Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) with Richter’s transformation.

Bill discusses how his diagnosis intersects with his original misdiagnosis, what it’s like being part of a clinical trial, hope for the future and the important of patient advocacy.
